GFOA Resources for Canadian Members

The Government Finance Officers of the United States and Canada represents a diverse group of professionals from many forms of state/provincial, regional, and local governments.

In Canada, GFOA’s membership of over 500 individuals represents governments from 9 of the 10 provinces and 2 of the 3 territories. Recently, Canadian governments were recognized with GFOA’s Award for Excellence,  approximately 100 win the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting, any many other individuals contribute to GFOA research and best practices.

To better serve GFOA’s Canadian members, GFOA has developed the Community for Canadian Issues (CCI) to provide focused educational and networking opportunities for GFOA members in Canada.  In addition, this resource page provides highlights from GFOA programs and services that features Canadian members or are relevant to current issues in Canadian public finance.
