Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and two (2) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Summary
Oversees and administers all City accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, federal and state laws, and City policies . Manages the general ledger, prepares financial reports, supports annual budget development, and assists with audits and year‑end close . Responsibilities also include cash management, fixed asset tracking, internal auditing, and supporting grant financial oversight. The position supports budgeting, financial reporting, capital assets, internal controls, and audit processes.
