Under general direction, performs a variety of duties related to the implementation, integration, administration, upgrade, testing, and support of enterprise and department applications, work orders/asset management, web-based interfaces, and other applications assigned.
Duties may include advanced system analysis and design, analysis of functional and conceptual workflow procedures and conversion into requirement specifications, design and procedure documentation, issue resolution, user and vendor management, project management, requirements facilitation, and report design. The Application Analyst will perform multidepartment and vendor coordination and/or facilitate system work and/or processes. The Applications Analyst will generally work with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) or cloud applications. The position will develop SQL database queries and have an understanding of web services and integration.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related field is required.
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible analytical and professional experience involving application development, design and testing, web-based applications and database integration, computer systems analysis, data analysis and reporting preparation or hardware and software support is required.
- Crystal Reports, MS SSRS, Munis Excel Cubes reporting is desirable.
- Experience with Tyler Munis (Finance, HR, Payroll, Utility Billing, Business Licensing, and EAM), EnerGov, and Onbase is highly desirable.
