Assistant Chief Financial Officer

The Assistant Chief Financial Officer is an expert in governmental accounting standards and state compliance and filing requirements, including the use of federal and state restricted funds. This position is an administrator of the County’s financial system and responsible the general ledger. They serve as a technical resource to the department, designing and supervising the work that supports efficient operating processes with appropriate internal controls, providing the basis for the annual audit and compliance filings at the highest standard. (The County has received a Certificate of Achievement from the GFOA for the last 30+ years.)

This position is also a resource for the Tyler Munis system for which the County is a reference site. Bachelor’s degree in related field with CPA/Master’s degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience in related field. Experience with Munis and ClearGov preferred.
