The Fremont County Treasurer is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Treasurer. Starting salary DOQ with excellent benefits including paid leave, health, dental and vision insurance, and Wyoming State Retirement. The Deputy oversees the accounting and bookkeeping functions of the Treasurer and supervises two employees. A bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration/finance is required. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. Additional desired qualifications include CPA certification, experience in public accounting and the preparation of financial statements with an emphasis in governmental accounting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access, software is a must. Experience with Caselle Connect financial software a big plus.
