Tri-County Health Department – Full Time/Long Term Temporary Position

What you will do:
This is a long term temporary position hired by a third party vendor with possibility of future hire by TCHD. Performs professional level accounting duties and maintenance of grant financial statements and reports. Monitors and reviews grant payroll accounting and related grant reports. Calculates grant/program indirect allocations. Reviews monthly revenue billing and invoices as it pertains to grants. Meets regularly with program managers to review grant status. May assist auditors in the preparation and resolution of the annual audit on grant information. Performs special accounting studies and prepares ad hoc reports as requested.
Requirements you will need:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, business administration or a related field and five to seven years professional level grant accounting experience preferably in fund or governmental accounting.
Extensive experience with principals and procedures of accounting following GAAP, specifically fund and governmental accounting.
