Technical Services Center

GFOA's technical services center (TSC) provides technical accounting and financial reporting guidance through GFOA's educational offerings and publishes Governmental Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting (GAAFR).  The Center also administers GFOA's Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting, and the Popular Annual Financial Reporting programs. The center also offers a technical inquiry service for individuals interested in the proper application of governmental accounting, auditing, and financial reporting standards and best practices in accounting and budgeting.
