Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations serve as the district’s senior administrator responsible for financial management and operational services that support the educational mission of the Wellesley Public Schools. The position provides strategic leadership and oversight of business services, human resources, transportation, food services, central registration, and other operational functions.
Responsibilities include long-range financial planning, development and management of the district’s operating budget, oversight of financial reporting and compliance, and coordination with municipal partners on fiscal and operational matters. The Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools.
