Craig Hoshijima is currently a deputy executive officer with LA Metro, the transportation agency for Los Angeles County, and is responsible for multiyear financial planning. This involves the funding of a $2.8 billion annual capital program and $1.9 billion annual operating budget, using local sales taxes, state and federal grants, and debt financing. Prior to LA Metro, Craig was a municipal financial advisor with several national firms and consulted to local agencies including LA Metro, assisting clients with financial planning, strategic and organizational decisions, and the issuance of debt. Craig is native to Southern California and has a master’s degree from UC Santa Barbara.
