The Port is currently recruiting for the position of Port Senior Accountant. Under direction, incumbents of this class are responsible for performing the most difficult accounting work, which includes solving complex accounting problems, designing and maintaining accounting systems, and providing direction to a work unit within the Port’s Accounting Department. This position will report to the Port Controller and will supervise four revenue billing and collections staff in the Accounting Department. The position will work closely with Property Managers, Wharfingers, the Utilities Manager, and other Supervisors and Staff across the revenue divisions, as well as perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.

Experience: Four years of professional work as an accountant. A CPA is desirable.
