"No Tax on Overtime" FAQs Published

GFOA’s Federal Liaison Center team has published a new series of FAQs related to implementation of the new, temporary  “No Tax on Overtime” deduction and the applicability of Fair Labor Standards Act requirements. CPFO Spotlight

Todd Grady

Todd Grady, director of finance for Ferguson Township, Pennsylvania, pursued the certification after moving into government following 18 years in the nonprofit sector. He saw the CPFO as a way to strengthen his knowledge and build credibility in his new role. The program helped him understand the reasoning behind key government finance practices, rather than simply following established processes. Todd believes the CPFO enhances his credibility and encourages others not to be intimidated. While challenging, he says the program is achievable and offers highly practical, government-focused learning.
