FLC Update: One Big Beautiful Bill Act

Zane Martin
Zane Martin, staff accountant for the City of Bowling, Kentucky, recently completed his CPFO journey. He pursued the CPFO designation to deepen his knowledge across all areas of public finance and become a more well-rounded professional for his city’s Finance Department. Through the process, Zane gained a greater understanding of how different areas of government finance work together to ensure an efficient and successful government for its citizens. Earning the CPFO has given him confidence to provide stronger insights and solutions when collaborating with colleagues, while reinforcing best practices that he now seeks to implement in his work.
