The City of Beverly Hills is seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to serve as the City’s first Independent City Auditor, that will be an independent advisor and resource to the City Council to report on the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of City programs and activities. Reporting directly to the City Council, the Independent City Auditory will be responsible for building a robust and active auditing office that will provide a variety of services such as performance audits, financial audits, operate the waste and fraud hotline, and conduct special studies. The ideal candidate will have high degree of political sensitivity and will be expected to quickly build strong working relationships and trust with a wide array of constituents, internal and external, to the City. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is preferred. Significant experience in developing, leading, and issuing performance audits as well as financial related audits is also required.
