This position serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the City. This is a highly responsible professional position responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting for the financial activities of the City. This position provides leadership for the divisions of Accounting and Budget, Compliance, Grants, Purchasing, and Utility Billing/Customer Service. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field required. Master’s degree in a related field preferred. • 8 years’ experience managing and reviewing all financial needs for a City of similar complexity or other large public agency, as well as professional, technical, and administrative personnel; required or; • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
