The City of Blair will be accepting applications for the position of Finance Director until 4 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 or until filled. This dynamic person will direct and coordinate the daily activities of the City Finance Department by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees: Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, utility billing, accounts receivable, and preparation of annual financial statements, coordinates annual independent audit, and assists with budget preparation. Help develop and implement proper internal controls and application of best practices. Additional duties as per the job description. Licensed CPA or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) – Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) certification preferred. This position is FLSA status Exempt, with regular hours of 8:00 am till 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
