Job Description: 

The Administrative Services Department Manager is responsible for executive direction, strategic leadership, and management of the Administrative Services Department, which includes human resources, finance, payroll, information technology, customer service, community and media relations, and support for the Board of Directors.

With the assistance of subordinate managers, contractors, and staff, this executive position oversees the work of the Department in the areas of finance, procurement, payroll, information systems and human resources, including preparation of the District’s operational and capital improvements budgets, financial statements, and the annual audit.

This position will direct and support the preparation of financial statements, annual and periodic budgets and forecasts and fee schedules. The position will also develop and enforce internal controls and sound financial policy recommendations, direct and ensure timely and accurate fiscal and administrative reporting, and coordinate with internal and external auditors to assure timely and effective auditing practices and reports.
