Sponsor the GFOAT Golf Tournament
The Government Finance Officers Association of Texas (GFOAT) is hosting a Golf Tournament at Grey Rock Golf & Tennis Club, on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in conjunction with GFOA's Annual Conference.
It will be a Texas Scramble with Prizes to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and “DAL” award. Also, prizes for four closest to the pins, and long drive contest for women and men. This golf outing will have a shotgun start at 8:00 am.
The golf outing will be raising funds for “GFOAT Foundation Scholarship Programs,” which is a 501-C.
Mission Statement
The Government Finance Officers Association of Texas formed a standing committee to encourage the development of government accounting and finance throughout Texas. This committee, appointed by the officers of the GFOAT, is charged with the responsibility of developing and administering the funds provided for instructional development and professionalism within the industry of government finance.

There are several levels of sponsorship, and if you are unable to play you can be one of the sponsors of the closest to the pins (four) contest, long drive contest (women and men), a Bubba Drive, or a Tiger Drive.
GFOAT is also looking for a sponsor for the beverage cart or carts depending on the number of golfers.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all players.

GFOA's call for topics is now closed. GFOA staff are currently reviewing proposed topics and will be contacting speakers soon to form session panels for the 2022 Annual Conference.

Social Events
A Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday, June 5, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Austin Convention Center. Drinks and appetizers will be available. Attendees, guests, sponsors, and exhibitors are encouraged to attend. This is a complimentary event. Stay tuned for additional details.
The Closing Event will take place on Tuesday, June 7, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Austin City Live. A dessert reception and music will be provided. Attendees, guests, sponsors, and exhibitors are encouraged to attend. Tickets are available to purchase online. Keep watch for additional details to be announced.
