Anne A. Fritz
Anne A. Fritz is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the City of St. Petersburg, FL. In her role, she is responsible for managing all accounting and financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, pension accounting and reporting, in-house investment of a $900 million portfolio, s as well the City’s bond ratings. In addition, she services as a trustee of the Employee’s Retirement system and sits on the oversight committee for the City’s 457 and 401A plans.
Anne is one of the first class of GFOA’s Certified Public Finance Officer and had been actively involved with Ohio GFOA’s Board of Trustees and Education Committee, the Florida GFOA’s Technical Committee Chair, and the GFOA National Committee on Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting, and has served on various GASB task forces. She was also an Instructor at Cleveland State University’s Levin College of Urban Affair’s Master’s of Public Administration Program, where she taught public finance/economics and public administration.
