Annual Conference Attendee Information
Thank you for registering for GFOA’s 116th Annual Conference, June 5−8, at the Austin Convention Center. To help you plan ahead, we would like to highlight some of the following information that appears in the onsite Conference Program Guide.

PLEASE NOTE: The 2022 eGAAFR is currently in development and not yet ready for purchase or distribution to GAAFR Plus subscribers.
Conference App
All conference attendees should download the conference app. This year, attendees will claim CPE credit through the app. Click here learn how to access the app.
Session Recordings
Concurrent sessions will be audio recorded and available through GFOA’s Learning Management System (learn.gfoa.org) by July 1, 2022. The sessions are included with your conference registration fee. (Listening to recorded sessions are not eligible for CPE credit).
Badges
Badges were not mailed as many attendees are currently working in hybrid environments. We ask for your patience as you pick up your badge at GFOA Registration in the Solar Atrium of the Austin Convention Center at the following times:
- Saturday, June 4, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday, June 5, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Monday, June 6, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Tuesday, June 7, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Wednesday, June 8, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Exhibitor and Exhibitor delegate badges will be available for pick up outside Exhibit Hall 4.
Welcome Reception
Join us for a Welcome Reception on Sunday, June 5, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm in Hall 2 of the Austin Convention Center. Enjoy appetizers and beverages and connecting with colleagues. The reception is complimentary.
Closing Event
If you purchased tickets for GFOA’s Closing Event on Tuesday, June 7, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm at Austin City Limits Live, you’ll be able to pick them up when you check in at Registration.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT: You can find possible tickets for sale by posting a message through the conference mobile app or GFOA’s Annual Conference Community for members.
Exhibit Hall
Don’t miss the opening of the Exhibit Hall on Sunday, June 5, at 9:30 am in Hall 4. Festivities will include a ribbon cutting and door prizes to the first 116 delegates in line for the hall’s opening (prizes exclude guests and children). Take advantage of this dedicated time to view products and services that can save your government time and money.
Steps Challenge
Join us for some fun while promoting wellness by participating in the GFOA Steps Challenge over Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of the conference. Click here to learn how to sign up.

Stop by the Visit Austin Information Booth for tour and city information. The desk is located in the Solar Atrium on the main concourse of the convention center during the following hours:
