Mike Bordenaro has been involved in the Asset Leadership Network since 2013, Communications Director since 2016 and Executive Director since 2021. Bordenaro assists the Asset Leadership Network in connecting with associations, government entities, and private companies to promote the value and benefits of a structured approach to asset management. Best exemplified in the ISO 55000/1/2 asset management standards, a structured approach to asset management has proven to assist organizations to achieve more than they thought possible. Bordenaro has learned that financial officers are key to the acceptance, approval, and implementation of asset management. He is honored to be involved with the GFOA.
