Jorge Chavez currently serves as the Management Analyst for the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD), where he currently manages more than $193 million in grants and low/no interest loans for the District. Prior to working at EVMWD, Jorge worked at Water Districts and a City government agency in California, where he was responsible for year-end audits, Operating Budgets, Capital Improvement Budget, and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Mr. Chavez has a Master’s Degree in Accounting from California Baptist University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Mr. Chavez is a member of the Municipal Management Association of Southern California, Grants Professional Association and National Grants Management Association member. He currently resides in Menifee, California with his wife, Mirella and two boys.
