Ramona Farineau

Ramona Farineau has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Boulder County since 2019. Prior to her appointment as the County’s first CFO, Ramona most recently served as the County’s Budget Director, and oversaw the strategic merger of the Budget and Financial Services Offices which allowed the county to gain efficiencies and improve financial reporting and transparency. In her 29 years with Boulder County, Ramona has held a variety of financial services positions, including responsibility for Boulder County’s successful sale of municipal bonds to fund the award winning open space program and certificates of participation to fund capital projects and recovery from the devastating 2013 Floods. Growing up in New England, Ramona has lived in Colorado for 30 years. She has three grown children and likes to spend her time doing crafts, hiking and enjoying the beautiful Colorado mountains.
