Sarah Marrs

Sarah Marrs is a Senior Member Operations Coordinator. She joined GFOA in 2006, and has previously worked on the budget awards program. Today, Sarah works with members to address a variety of needs to ensure an engaging and active membership. She also works with the standing committees and special interest groups, further ensuring that members are able to engage in all areas of GFOA. Sarah has previously been a legal assistant and worked in the fast-paced world of Chicago finance, but most enjoys working with GFOA members to create ethical, transparent, and effective local governments to better serve the public.
