Mary Martinez is the Finance Directory for the Mesquite Independent School District.  She has more than 20 years of Accounting Experience, 15 of which have been in governmental accounting.  She manages the AP Card/Virtual Card program for Mesquite, which has help the district reduced the use of checks and manage fraud.  The program generates an average of $193,000 a year in revenue share, roughly $56 per student allocated back to the 51 campuses.

She earned her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.  She is a Registered Texas School Business Administrator.
