Michael Rhoads, CPA, is the Internal Control Director for the Auditor of State in Indiana. He reviews the processes and procedures of the state’s finance office to ensure accuracy, reduce duplication, and streamline office duties. His career accomplishments include identifying more than $5 million in recoverable overpayments to long-term-care facilities; improving the RFP process, improving vendor services and helping create $1 million in annual savings; and implementing new technology to improve internal controls and reduce costs. Rhodes holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
