For more than 12 years, Krista has served in leadership roles in the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Krista currently serves as Kansas City’s Budget Officer. Krista previously served as the Deputy Budget Officer and Deputy Director of the Parks Department for the City. Passionate about aligning resources to resident driven priorities, she has moved the City’s budget process to a strategic one that highlights outcomes. Krista has a Bachelor’s of Science is Business Economics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and is currently completing her Public Leadership Certification from Harvard Kennedy School.
