Rasheed Jones, CPA

Rasheed started his career as a Staff Accountant with Baker Tilly US, LLP in Oak Brook.  In 2011, he joined the Village of Matteson as a General Ledger Accountant.  In 2013, Rasheed became the Finance Director for the City of Berwyn and six years later he joined the Village of Schaumburg as their Assistant Finance Director.  Rasheed returned to the Village of Matteson as the Finance Director in August of 2020.  He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of St. Francis and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Rasheed is a member of the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA) and serves on the Growth and Engagement Network Committee, and the South Metro Chapter Board.
