Hurst’s professional background is in public policy, external affairs, and communications, spanning both public and private sectors. In his role at Rubicon, Hurst is jointly responsible for growing RUBICONSmartCity™ partnerships with municipalities and conducting legislative analysis. Prior to joining Rubicon, Hurst worked at the Center for the Study of the Presidency & Congress, a non-partisan think tank in Washington, D.C., where he held roles throughout the organization related to operations, public policy, external relations, communications, and development.
