Roman J. Guillory is currently a Senior Accountant for Federal & State Programs for Texas Health Resources. Texas Health Resources is a faith-based, nonprofit health system that provides care for patients in North Texas. As a Senior Accountant, Guillory oversees all grant accounting activities, including documentation compliance, month and year end closing duties, prepares account reconciliations and grant budget to variance analysis, accruals, assists with external audit of grants (Single Audit in accordance with OMB Circular A-133) and the Schedule of Expenditures for Federal Awards (SEFA).
Prior to this, Guillory was an Accountant for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he oversaw the fiscal operations of many state and federal grants. Guillory has held finance related and data driven positions throughout his professional career, the first beginning with GE Power (Baker Hughes). He also partners with businesses, nonprofits and solopreneurs to grow their personal and professional brands, by way of process improvement. His experience includes governmental accounting, contract review, grant writing, business analysis, continuous improvement, and project management. Roman holds a BS in management and economics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, an MBA in finance from Louisiana State University Shreveport, a MS in Systems Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
