I've worked in local government almost 9 years and have been with the City of Irving for seven of those years. My entire career has been based in finance with the exception of a brief stint in planning and I have held various positions. Currently, I coordinate our internship program and serve on an advisory board for one of the local high schools to provide some guidance on what employers are looking for in the industry. I earned my Bachelors degree from Baylor University in Sociology and my Master's in Publics Administration from the University of North Texas. I have also received my Certified Government Finance Officer designation as well.
