Johanna Som de Cerff
Johanna Som de Cerff is the Acting Branch Chief of Branch 5 (a.k.a. the “Bond Branch”) of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel Financial Institutions and Products Division. She joined the Office of Chief Counsel in 1999 and has served in various capacities in the Bond Branch ever since. She is a principal author of numerous guidance publications and private letter rulings concerning tax-exempt and other tax-advantaged bonds.
