Jennifer Stevens has had a professional career focused primarily on municipal government, auditing and public service. She is currently the Assistant Financial Officer at the City of Raleigh, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina and is the 41st largest city in the country. Raleigh has a strong financial position and is ranked AAA/Aaa by all three rating agencies for General Obligation bonds and water and sewer revenue bonds. She has been with the City of Raleigh for almost 13 years serving in various roles within Finance. Jennifer has municipal experience with accounting and financial reporting including ACFR preparation, revenue forecasting, debt experience, accounts payable and payroll. She has former public accounting experience as an external auditor and is a licensed CPA in North Carolina. She is currently serving as a GFOA Debt committee member. She holds her Bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster and obtained her Master's In Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
