Kimberly Warren

Supervisor General Accounting, Fairfax County Water Authority

Kimberly Warren serves as the Accounting Supervisor at Fairfax County Water Authority. Over the past five years, she has been a part of the auditing, strategic planning, banking, purchasing card, lock-box, contracts, retiree, and federal and state reporting committees/teams. Before Fairfax Water, Kimberly was an accounting manager responsible for comprehensive financial statements, cash flows, and audits. Additionally, she was in charge of negotiating contracts as well as invoicing in a federal government setting.

Kimberly has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Mary Washington and holds a Master of Financial and Accounting Management degree from DeVry University. She is currently completing the Government Finance Officers’ Association’s (GFOA) Certified Public Finance Officers (CPFO) certification program through Radford University. She recently completed certifications from the American Water Works Association in Utility Management (AWWA), Virginia Government Finance Officers’ Association (VGFOA), and Leadership Management. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), AWWA, VGFOA, GFOA, Association of Government Accountants (AGA), Women’s Business Leaders Association (WBLA), American Payroll Association (APA), and the Women’s Public Finance Network (WPFN).
