Marisa G. Waxman, AICP serves as Director, State & Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Recovery Programs. Prior to joining Treasury, she served as Budget Director for the City of Philadelphia, leading the development and management of the City's $12B+ operating and capital budgets with an emphasis on budgeting for racial equity and community engagement. Before that, Marisa served in a number of other departments with the City of Philadelphia, with a focus on tax policy and administration. She has also held positions with the NYC Department of Finance and the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. Marisa earned a Bachelors and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
