Bio: 

Brent started with the City of Thousand Oaks as a Senior Accountant in 2000 and in 2005 became the City’s first Budget Officer.  Highlights while at the City include; obtaining the City’s first “Distinguished Budget Presentation Award” from the GFOA.  He also helped lead a team of City staff in its first Community Engagement and Public Outreach, and then applied for and received the GFOA’s Award for Excellence” for their “Your City, Your Priorities” program on the City’s behalf.  Prior to that, he worked at KPMG, one of the Big-Four Accounting firms.

Brent graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Business Administration.
