Brian Egan serves as the Principal Associate for Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations at the National League of Cities. As a member of NLC’s federal advocacy team, he handles policy issues relating to city finance, banking and tax. In addition, he helps lead the organization’s efforts to prepare cities for the 2020 Census. He also manages a committee of representatives from more than 30 cities that preside over the organization’s federal policy positions relating to his portfolio. Previously, he has worked on other various policy priorities and in policy communications. Brian is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C.
