Please see the following list of Exhibitor Frequently Asked Questions to best assist you with questions regarding GFOA’s 117th Annual Conference at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
The 2023 GFOA Annual Conference will take place May 21-24 at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, Oregon. Exhibit hall show days are May 21-23.
The 2023 GFOA Annual Conference exhibit hall hours are:*
Sunday, May 21 - 9:30am–1:30pm
Monday, May 22 - 11:00am–4:30pm
Tuesday, May 23 - 10:00am–2:00pm
*Hours are subject to change
Exhibitors can access the exhibit hall starting 30 minutes prior to the hall opening each day.
Load-in
Friday, May 19 - 12:00pm–5:00pm, by appointment only
Saturday, May 20 - 8:00am–5:00pm
Load-out
Tuesday, May 23 - 2:00pm–5:00pm
Wednesday, May 24 - 8:00am–12:00pm

▪ 3 complimentary badges (exhibit hall only) per 10’ x 10’ booth
▪ Complimentary admission to GFOA’s Sunday night welcome event
▪ Company name and booth number in the 2023 conference app, program guide, and GFOA’s website
▪ Conference registration available at a discounted fee
▪ Back drape and side rails in show colors
▪ 7” x 44” two-line identification sign
▪ Attendee list with name, employer, city, and state or province provided on May 5, 2023
*Island booths do not have pipe and drape or identification sign.
The Exhibitor Service Kit will be available directly from Freeman starting January 2023. You must create an account with Freeman to access the order forms. Click here to access the kit.
GFOA requires all booths be carpeted or have floor covering. Floor covering can be ordered through the Exhibitor Service Kit, available from Freeman starting January 2023. Booths without floor covering two hours prior to the show opening will automatically have carpet installed by the decorator at the exhibitor’s expense.
No, electricity can be ordered through the Oregon Convention Center.
The exhibit hall will have basic wi-fi. A wired internet connection can be ordered through the Oregon Convention Center.
All food and beverage orders must go through Levy, the official catering partner of the Oregon Convention Center.

Lead Retrieval: Event Ready
GFOA does not provide attendee contact information.
We will be offering exhibitors the option to purchase lead retrieval to capture attendee data. Details will be available in March 2023.
Badge registration will open in Spring 2023. Look for an email from GFOA with instructions at that time. Please disregard attendee early registration deadlines. They do not apply to Sponsors and Exhibitors who have a different badging process that will be made available in the coming months.

Hospitality events cannot conflict with any GFOA session or conference-related event. (Please note that GFOA’s Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and GFOA’s Closing Event will take place on Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.)
Open nights to host a hospitality event are:
