The scholarship is available to active WPFN members who are not a current CPFO program participant. Submit an application here.

Do I need to be a GFOA member?

Yes. In order to be a member of WPFN or to receive the CPFO designation, active GFOA membership is required.

I started the CPFO program with Radford University, but have not enrolled in the new program. Am I eligible for the scholarship?

Yes, if you have not enrolled in the new CPFO program, then you are eligible for the scholarship.

Can I apply for the WPFN CPFO scholarship as well as other CPFO scholarships (offered through state GFOA chapters or other GFOA networking groups)?

You may apply to multiple scholarships. However, only one scholarship will be awarded. For example, if you received a CPFO scholarship through GFOA’s Black Caucus, then you will not receive a scholarship through WPFN.

What is the application deadline?

Please apply by February 29. Scholarship recipients will be announced in the WPFN Newsletter on April 16.
