Jane Ridley

Senior Director and Sector Lead – U.S. Public Finance
S&P Global
Jane is a Senior Director in the U.S. Public Finance (USPF) Government Group, and serves as a Sector Lead for local governments. Prior to her role as a Sector Lead, Jane was the Analytic Manager for the Midwest local government group for nine years. She has been with S&P Global since 2001.

During her tenure at S&P Global, Jane has worked with issuers throughout the country and served as the primary analyst for the city of Detroit through its historic bankruptcy. Her areas of expertise include distressed credits and the evolving perception of the GO pledge. In her role as a Sector Lead, Jane’s scope encompasses the entire U.S. local government market.

Before joining Standard & Poor’s, Jane was a Vice President in the Municipal Securities Group at Banc of America Securities, and an analyst at PaineWebber.

Jane served as a board member of Women in Public Finance, and is the executive sponsor for the local Toastmasters International chapter in our Centennial, Colorado office. She is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Jane is a graduate of Northwestern University.
