Glenpool, “the town that made Tulsa famous,” was born of an oil gusher in 1905, and it hasn’t stopped growing yet. Located in the greater Tulsa Metropolitan Area, this dynamo of a city is close enough to Tulsa for easy access to all its amenities, but far enough away for its more than 14,000 residents to enjoy life in a small-town setting. Covering 11 square miles, Glenpool is easily accessible via multiple major roadways including US Highway 75, State Highways 117, and 67 with the Creek Turnpike just one mile north. Glenpool is a small, tight-knit community whose continual growth has encouraged longtime residents as well as newcomers to thrive side by side in an open and welcoming community.
