A vacancy exists in the Office of Budget and Finance, Accounting Division.

The Accounting Division is part of Fiscal Operation within The Office of Budget and Finance. We are in our fourth year of implementing and sustaining the Counties strategic plan. This year, the county has replaced its Administrative Enterprise Resource Planning System (Workday) and its Tax System. Fiscal Operations also has moved many and in many areas, all its paper processes for digital and is currently reviewing it business processes to improve accountability, integrity of the data, and transparency (reporting). We are looking for a Chief Accountant with strong knowledge of managing an Accounting Department and work well with the leadership of Fiscal Operations to maintain a high level of service while maintaining a strong accounting system and timely reporting that meets the needs of the county, its agencies and external stakeholders.
