General Statement of Duties
The Finance Manager provides budget and financial management for the City of Eugene Community Development division of the Planning and Development Department. Key responsibilities include financial management of complex funding sources, ensuring compliance with grant program regulations and City financial and budgetary requirements related to various funding sources such as Federal and State grants and urban renewal/tax increment financing, and providing complex staff assistance to division managers, Executive Managers, and/or advisory committees. These funding sources are complex and politically sensitive, receive high level of scrutiny, and are instrumental in Community Development’s ability to carry out Council priorities of economic prosperity, housing affordability, and homeless services in a fast paced, dynamic, and creative environment.
