The County of Santa Clara’s Controller-Treasurer Department is looking for an experienced finance leader who will be responsible for originating, coordinating, and executing the financial accounting and auditing reports, policies, and procedures of the County. Under the general direction of the Director, Finance Agency, the Controller-Treasurer will ensure responsible fiscal administrative work and will promote the County’s financial viability by managing its accounting systems and assets with integrity.
Required Background and Experience:
The necessary knowledge and abilities would normally be acquired through training and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in accounting or a related field and four years of responsible experience in the administration of a complex financial, accounting or auditing unit.
- Possession of CPA certificate are highly desirable.
