General Accounting & Treasury Supervisor
This recruitment will remain open until filled and may close at any time without prior notice to proceed in the selection process. The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is seeking a General Accounting & Treasury Supervisor to join the Finance team and provide oversight for:
- Financial statements and management reporting
- Treasury operations
- Core accounting activities including monthly financial close, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and payroll
- Monthly and quarterly financial statement analysis
- Complex financial modeling and analysis
The ideal candidate is a team-focused leader with utility experience in all governmental accounting aspects. The selected candidate will have strong supervisory experience, demonstrated experience in public accounting, strong interpersonal communication skills, and an ability to adapt to shifting priorities in an ever-changing environment.
Minimum Training and Experience Required:
Minimum Experience:
- Eight years of progressively responsible work experience in a directly related financial area/field. Four years of direct supervision in a multi-functional work environment OR an equivalent combination of professional, senior, lead, or project management experience may satisfy the supervisor requirement.
Professional license or registration:
- CPA certification required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
- Desirable education, experience, training, and certifications: Master's Degree or CMA certification. ERP system experience preferred.
- Equivalency: An equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying.
