Independent Inspector General

This is an executive level position responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and carrying out the responsibilities of the Office of the Independent Inspector General. The organization and administration of the Office of the Independent Inspector General shall be sufficiently independent to assure that no interference or influence external to the Office adversely affects the independence and objectivity of the Independent Inspector General. A high degree of originality, resourcefulness, initiative, ingenuity, judgment, integrity, technical (computer) competence, as well as managerial knowledge and excellent oral/written communication skills are required to effectively perform the duties required of the position. The position’s incumbent reports directly to the City Commission.
