The Town of Waxhaw (pop 20,534) is seeking a highly skilled professional for the position of Finance Director. The ideal candidate must have exceptional leadership skills, the ability to handle complex projects, and know when to delegate appropriately. The director should be approachable and have strong project management, communication, and presentation skills. Also, must be able to foster and maintain good relationships with staff, other agencies, partners, and the community by being responsive, positive, and collaborative. The new Finance Director will have the opportunity to work on numerous projects as town operations and services continue to grow in response to the new population and service demand.
