The Director of Finance is responsible for directing financial activities in a manner that ensures accurate record keeping, provides useful reporting, safeguards and maximizes financial assets and manages the budgetary process by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. The Finance Director is responsible for all audit reviews, ACFR, and cash management. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance shall serve as comptroller and is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities. This position will lead all day-to-day finance operations of approximately $12 million budget and supervise a team of 1-3 staff members. The Director is responsible for the development and management of the agency’s operating budget. The Director of Finance shall also provide guidance to the Executive Director, Directors and the NOACA Board regarding financial issues relating to the operations of the organization and the use of public funds. This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position. Remote work is available on Mondays.
