Kalie Work serves as the Washoe County Recorder where she advocates for the use of technology to make local government more efficient, secure, and user-friendly.
Kalie is actively using an Ethereum blockchain application in her office and has testified in support of blockchain legislation before the Nevada legislature.
Before becoming an elected official, Kalie worked in non-profit and private sector. A significant part of her career was spent at Microsoft, leading teams in both operations and finance. Her education includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada and graduate studies at Harvard University.
Kalie lives in Reno with her husband and daughter.
