GFOA is exploring how we can support our LGBTQIA+ members. We're looking for members who are interested in becoming part of a task force to help us establish how we can best do this. Starting in January, interested members would meet several times with GFOA staff to help guide a discussion on how GFOA can be more inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ community, help the community work through professional issues related to their identity, and how we can better network and expand the inclusivity of our profession.
