Marvin Dereef is chief financial officer of Fulton County Schools in suburban Atlanta, Georgia. Fulton County Schools is one of the largest school districts in the United States, serving more than 90,000 people with approximately 14,000 employees at more than 100 school sites. GFOA’s Matt Bubness talked to Dereef about working remotely and collaborating throughout an organization.
